This 1909/8 $20 Saint Gaudens is a splendid example of the only overdate in the Saint Gaudens series and has graded Choice MS64 by PCGS. The surfaces of this Gold Double Eagle are a beautiful honey-golden hue and shine with bight original mint luster. The devices are bold and the details are very well defined. This Saint has wonderful eye-appeal and is certainly worthy of any high end collection or registry set.
The 1909/8 Saint Gaudens is extremely collectible, as the only overdate variety, and can be difficult to find. Current PCGS population shows Only 32 graded higher than MS64.
