The Nordic Track CX938 elliptical trainer is the entry level machine from one of the largest fitness equipment manufacturers in the world, Icon Health and Fitness. Nordic Track is a well-known brand in this market and has many elliptical machine models available for purchase.
The CX 938 is priced at approximately $600, and is similar to Reebok’s budget elliptical machine, the 525. When purchasing a cheap elliptical trainer you need to be fully aware of what to expect. Like any type of fitness equipment, you often get what you pay for, and this is no different with elliptical trainers. Having said this, the Nordic Track CX938 has some nice features, including an 18 inch stride, iFit compatibility, pulse sensors, and 10 built-in exercise programs. Furthermore the 1 year warranty on parts, labor, and motor will come in useful if anything goes wrong with the machine, although it is a good idea to purchase an extended warranty when buying cheap fitness equipment just in case.
