Horizon Treadmill Reviews – Read This Before Buying

Horizon Treadmills Reviews are a dime a dozen-but many of them seem to disagree with each other.

So what’s the truth?

First you should know that they are built by a company named Johnson, and they are priced $700-$1400–relatively cheap when compared with many other machines. They are major competitors for Proform and Nordic Track.

Do you get what you pay for?

Yes-they aren’t known for their great quality. Like most sub-$1000 machines, if you want to walk and maybe do some light jogging every now and then, these ones will probably do the trick. But running? Forget about it.

And don’t be deceived by the fancy design

True, they look very sturdy, but don’t be fooled-Horizon Treadmills are “walkers only” machines. This isn’t a criticism of them-you won’t find many treadmills in this price range able to handle heavy duty running–these are no exception.

But while they used to have lower quality, they have gotten a lot better in the past 2-3 years. They are more powerful than they used to be and are built better-but still aren’t for sprinters or even serious joggers.

Even if you get the most expensive Horizon machines, they are “walkers only”-but even if you plan on using it lightly I’d still recommend getting one of the upper end models.

Even with light use the cheapies have been known to break down. Their more expensive machines are built pretty well, and should stand up to serious walking and maybe even a little jogging.

So what’s the verdict?

If you are a jogger, the Landice Treadmills are much better-but as mentioned, for walkers Horizon Treadmills will do the trick-as long as you don’t get the dirt cheap ones.
