Bodylastics Results – Can You Really Build a Lean, Ripped Body With Bodylastic?
It seems ridiculous to me how many people wonder about getting Bodylastics results. In other words, the question is better put this way…can you really get results using resistance bands?
Now the reason I think that’s a ridiculous question is because it appears to me that when people ask a question like that it stems from the “hype” of the expensive home gym manufacturers. They pitch their product as if it was the magic bullet and the only way to achieve bodybuilding results.
The reality is that any form of exercise will yield results. They are certain principles and exercise protocols that must be followed regardless of the exercise equipment you use.
To achieve muscle growth you must use the principles of:
Progressive Resistance
All that progressive resistance means is that every time you workout you attempt to use more weight or resistance than you did the workout before. This is the major disadvantage with body weight only exercises.
Adequate Rest
Your muscles don’t grow while you’re working out. When you work out all you’re doing is tearing muscle fiber. When you go to sleep your body releases certain hormones that repair the muscle tissue. That’s why it’s very important to get at least eight hours of sleep each night when you’re following a rigorous workout program.
Proper Nutrition
In addition to getting adequate rest you must feed your body in order for it to grow. It’s an oxymoron that you can build muscle while losing body weight. I see this on TV all the time, they pitch the idea that you can get bigger and more muscular while at the same time dieting so that you can be ripped.
So back to the question “does a Bodylastics workout get you results?”
The answer is so silly to me. Of course it’s yes. How big you get is based on how you workout and how many calories you consume.
You can grow muscle tissue with resistance bands workout just like you can with free weights, Bowflex, or any other home gym. In fact, there are certain exercises that are actually better done with exercise bands than with free weights. But more about that at a later time.
