The weird past and inevitable future of VR treadmills
Omnidirectional Treadmills are a crazy solution to VR locomotion problems and cybersickness- but the origin of these devices has been a buried secret that I excavated up from the pits of the net for this video! I tried out the only consumer available treadmill: the Kat Walk C, and became inspired to talk about the future of this unique piece of virtual reality technology.
