A teaser for a Super Bowl ad in two weeks made an appearance during the AFC championship game between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos.
It was … interesting. And it featured Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ping Pong and Bud Light. Here’s a glimpse: Whatever is coming. Are you #UpForWhatever?

Bud Light “Arnold Warmup” Bud Light “Arnold Zipper”

Super Bowl ad will feature Arnold Schwarzenegger as you’ve never seen him
Arnold Schwarzenegger will have a cameo role on Super Bowl Sunday — and from the looks of things, it’s gonna be pretty hilarious.

Anheuser-Busch InBev, makers of Bud Light, have released teasers for their ads for the big game, under the tag line, “The Perfect Beer for Whatever Happens.”

We take it seeing Arnold warming up for what appears to be an epic ping-pong match qualifies as something few would expect to ever happen. Here are some of the teasers for the ad:

Schwarzenegger won’t be the only star in the Bud Light ad campaign that day. Other spots will feature actor Don Cheadle and comedian Reggie Watts — and a llama.
“Our six Super Bowl ad teasers give viewers a peek behind the curtain, but fans will have to tune-in during the game to see how these seemingly unrelated events form one cohesive story,” Bud Light Vice President Rob McCarthy said in a statement featured in AdAge.com.

Schwarzenegger is said to have earned $3 million for his work, per a New York Post report.

We’ll hold out judgment until we see the full ad, but at the moment, it appears he was worth every penny.

Are you ready for Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Super Bowl ad? Of course you are!

Report: Arnold Schwarzenegger Getting $3M for ‘Epic’ Super Bowl Ad
Arnold Schwarzenegger will not only star in an “epic” Bud Light Super Bowl ad, he’s reportedly being paid $3 million to do so.

The Austrian-born superstar has made appearances in ads overseas, but for the most part has steered clear of making advertisements in the United States.

“Arnold has shot a series of ads in Japan but pretty much hasn’t done anything in the U.S.,” a source told the New York Post. “Persuading him to promote a beer is a big coup for Bud Light.”

Schwarzenegger, 66, agreed to star in Bud Light’s new humorous ad campaign, “The Perfect Beer for Whatever Happens,” which debuts Feb. 2 during Super Bowl XLVIII with two corresponding “Epic Night” commercials featuring an array of celebrity surprises.

“With the largest television audience of the year, it’s an unprecedented opportunity and we make the most of it,” Paul Chibe, Anheuser-Busch’s vice president of U.S. marketing, stated in a news release regarding the highly anticipated ad campaign. “We have a game plan in place this year to deliver creative that celebrates Bud Light and Budweiser while reaching loyal beer drinkers and new generations.”

The price tag this year for a 30-second slot of Super Bowl air time is a record $4 million, up $200,000 from last year and nearly 50 percent from five years ago.

The NFL is airing it’s two Conference Final games on Sunday which means we’re going to start getting teasers for Super Bowl commercials we can expect to see in February during the big game. One of those commercials is set to star actor Arnold Schwarzenegger in a Bud Light ad, and we saw the teaser to it on Sunday afternoon.

Schwarzenegger is starting to dive back into his acting career after spending the majority of the 2000s in office as governor of California. But now that he’s out of office, he’s back on the acting scene and apparently looking to a Super Bowl beer ad to get his foot back in the door.

He has a role in the upcoming Expendables 3 and starred with Sylvester Stallone in Escape Plan this past year. But the Super Bowl ad he’s set to star in has us all intrigued as it already looks like it’s going to be pretty weird.
If you reverse things though, all of a sudden things stop getting weird and they start getting steamy. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Bud Light commercial will debut during the Super Bowl this February 2nd on FOX.
