In a small suburb north of Washington DC, Team USA’s best table tennis players are training rigorously for their shot at the world championship tournaments.
But in order to compete against China’s dedicated ping pong culture, U.S. players have to commit to starting their education at a young age.
Maryland Table Tennis Center was founded and is led by coach Larry Hodges, who has written several books on table tennis strategy.
