The Carbon T7, T10, and T14 make up ProForm’s Carbon Series of treadmills. These treadmills are all compact, have nice features, fold up, and are pretty affordable.

They’re all best for walking, jogging, hiking, and light running. Users with longer running strides might not be able to run at higher speeds on this deck. For most users, jogging is sufficient with the 20” x 55” deck.

The ProForm Carbon T14 and T10 have 2.75 CHP motors, and the T7 has a 2.6 CHP motor. These sizes are best for light to moderate use. For extensive training like running at high speeds for long periods of time and distance training, we recommend treadmills with at least 3.0 HP motors.

All of these models fold, however, the T14 uses a hydraulic assist to help with lifting and lowering the deck. The ProForm Carbon T10 and T7 have a manual, pin-locking system that requires you to lift and lower the deck. Overall, we prefer the hydraulic system because it is easier and safer to use.

All of these treadmills have a 300 lb weight limit and feel solid to use. The Carbon T14 feels most durable, however, because of the added steel crossbar mounted between the stabilizers. The T14 is also the quietest, however, all three are appropriate for most homes when it comes to noise output.

As far as training content, all of these treadmills offer the option to use iFit. iFit is a subscription training platform that offers thousands of trainer-led classes. Check out our other ProForm videos to learn more about iFit, and head to TreadmillReviewGuru.com to read our full review with everything you need to know about iFit.

If you’re looking for a treadmill with training content that is the best bang for your buck, we recommend checking out the ProForm Carbon T7. It is currently available for free when you purchase a 3-year subscription to iFit.

As for our top pick out of these treadmills, we like the ProForm Carbon T14 the most. We recommend all of these models, but with the price difference between the T10 and T14, we think the T14 is worth the splurge. It has the largest touch screen out of the three for streaming iFit, and the console layout is the easiest to use. The hydraulic assist is easier and safer for folding/unfolding than the manual function on the other two. The T14 is also the most comfortable and quietest to use.
